Bridge $NERO from Solana to Monero

$NERO is the UseNero ecosystem token and it starts life on Solana. The bridge will let you move it onto Monero, and back, in a couple of clicks.

The bridge is only for $NERO. Every other token on UseNero is launched directly on the Monero chain, so it is already native there and never needs a bridge.

What the bridge does

You send $NERO on Solana to the bridge. The bridge holds it, and the same amount of $NERO appears in your UseNero account on Monero.

Think of it as a cloakroom. You hand your $NERO to the bridge on Solana, the bridge keeps it safe, and you get the same amount of $NERO in your UseNero account on Monero. Nothing is created out of thin air: every $NERO on Monero is matched by one held by the bridge on Solana.

How it will work

  1. Start the bridge

    Connect your Solana wallet on this page and choose how much $NERO to move. If you prefer, you can call the bridge function directly instead.

  2. The bridge takes your $NERO

    Your $NERO goes to the UseNero bridge wallet on Solana, which holds it for as long as it lives on Monero.

  3. It appears on Monero

    The UseNero system credits exactly the same amount of $NERO to your UseNero account on Monero. From there you can trade it, send it, or hold it like any other token here.

$NERO is the one token that exists outside Monero, so it is the one token that needs a way in. Every token launched on UseNero is born on Monero from the start: its balances live on the UseNero ledger and its history is anchored in Monero. There is nothing to bridge.

Good to know

  • The bridge is custodial: while your $NERO is on Monero, the matching $NERO on Solana is held in the UseNero bridge wallet.
  • Every bridge in and out will be recorded, so the amount on Monero can always be checked against what the bridge holds.
  • Fees, limits and the launch date will be announced before the bridge opens.
